Equipment FAQs
What size plate compactor do I need?
For interlock pavers, patios and small repairs, the 65 kg BT65 is the standard choice. For deeper granular base lifts and driveways, step up to the BT85 or BT100. For trench backfill and cohesive soils, a jumping-jack rammer (BR60/BR68) or the BRT350 reversible plate compacts better than a forward plate.
Do Buddy machines come with Honda engines?
Yes — Buddy plate compactors, rammers, trowels, screeds and the BD250 power wheelbarrow ship with genuine Honda GX-series engines (the BD600 track dumper runs a Briggs & Stratton Vanguard 14 HP with electric start).
Can I get parts and service for Buddy equipment?
Yes. As an authorized Buddy dealer we can supply genuine replacement parts — rubber paving mats, belts, water tanks, clutches and engine parts — and help with warranty support.
Do you deliver equipment to the jobsite?
Yes. We deliver across the Greater Toronto Area from North York and across Grey-Bruce from Hanover, or you can pick up at either yard. Freight on larger machines is quoted with your order.
